James Stanton gravestone at Weymouth, Dorset, England
James Stanton gravestone at Weymouth, Dorset, England
If you go to Weymouth Cemetery and enter from the Abbotsbury Road you will be in the Holy Trinity section and before you will be the little chapel, now used as a store. Just to the left and on the road side of the chapel you should find James Stanton, now standing upright and a little cleaner than before. (Brian Wollaston 2005)

Robert Langshaw Smith and Sarah Stanton gravestone at Weymouth, Dorset, England
Robert Langshaw Smith and Sarah Stanton gravestone at Weymouth, Dorset, England
If you go to Weymouth Cemetery and enter from the Abbotsbury Road you will be in the Holy Trinity section and before you will be the little chapel, now used as a store. On the right hand side of the Chapel you can find Robert Langshaw Smith and Sarah Ann Smith nee Stanton. I have tried some weedkiller around them to keep the grass down, but I presume that its effect could well have worn off by now. If you feel so inclined another dose would do for the weeds a bit more. (Brian Wollaston 2005) Gravestone inscription: In everloving memory of Robert Langshaw Smith The beloved husband of Sarah Smith who fell asleep in Jesus March 20th 1905 Aged 64 years Goid hath called the patient sufferer All thy pain and sufferings o'er Though we mourn for thee our dear one Thou are not lost but gone before Also of Sarah Ann his wife died March 8th 1926 Aged 80 years
