"I have Elizabeth marrying Alfred Tom Webb (b 1806 Southampton) in 1883 in Southampton, I haven't seen the marriage entry or verified this.
      Children:
      William Alfred 1884
      Daisy Elizabeth 1886
      Rose 1888
      Frederick Richard 1890
      Arthur 1893
      George 1895
      born in Southampton

I have no info on Elizabeth and my connection is through Alfred Tom.

His parents were Frederick Webb born 1824 Southampton and Sarah Gamblin Goodall born 1825 Fareham, they married 28/2/1847 in Portsea.
      Children:
      Sarah Ellen 1849
      Esther Marie 1851
      Frederick George 1853
      Mary Ann 1857
      Alfred Tom 1860
      Stephen Hide 1861
all the children were born in Southampton.

      Sarah Gamblin Goodall
Is the sister to my great great grandmother Elizabeth and she married in 1863 to George White."

However what you might really find interesting, although I know that you
did mention on an earlier occasion that your Genealogical interests lay
mainly with the Stantons, are the ancestors of a little lady (she could of
course have been a large lady) shown only as "Mary Ann ?" on your tree - the
      wife of Richard Targett.

This is what I believe her ancestry (and ours!!) could possibly be:

Caroline TARGETT. born 1854 - Birth Cert attached.
Parents - Richard TARGETT & Mary Ann TARGETT nee PATTEN

Mary PATTEN & Richard TARGETT married 10 Oct 1852, St Mary,Southampton
Both father's names were William. Mary's middle name was not shown - I
have the Cert - you're welcome to a copy.

From the 1861 Census Mary A Targett is shown as age 28 (b.1833),
      born.Salisbury,Wilts - Census attached

From the IGI (sure not reliable but can be a good pointer):
      Parents: William PATTEN & Elizabeth
      1. Mary Ann PATTEN Christening: 01 SEP 1833 Fisherton Anger*, Wiltshire
      2. George PATTEN Christening: 18 JUN 1837 Fisherton Anger, Wiltshire
      3. Martha PATTEN Christening: 18 JUN 1837 Fisherton Anger, Wiltshire
      4. John PATTON Christening: 06 JUL 1828 Fisherton Anger, Wiltshire
      5. William PATTEN Christening: 05 SEP 1830 Fisherton Anger, Wiltshire
      6. Charles PATTEN Christening: 19 MAY 1839 Fisherton Anger, Wiltshire
      *Fisherton Anger was next Salisbury!

      Marriages: William PATTEN
Spouse: Elizabeth NAPIER <<-- Take note of this surname!!!!!
      Marriage: 01 JUN 1827 Fisherton Anger,Wiltshire (M152081 1754 - 1895)

      1841 Census. FRC Fiche Ref HO107 1167/2

William Patten, 35 yrs, M.S. (merchant seaman?) - No place of birth
given - means not Wiltshire - all the others have Y for yes in place of
birth field - meaning they were born in Wiltshire.
      Elizabeth Patten, 35, Y
      John Patten, 13, Y
      William Patten, 10, Y
      Mary Patten, 8, Y
      Martha Patten, 6, Y
      George Patten, 4, Y
      Charles Patten, 2, Y

I'm in contact with a couple of people (Norman Hallam and Gill and
Graham Gill) who are descended from these Patten children and both appear to
be full on Genealogists. They have both sent me much interesting and
      relavent information.

Rather than bore you with more detail I've included 3 pages of the
Napier Tree originally sent by Norman (go to the bottom of page 2 first and
work your way up) - he has since sent 16 pages going back to the 1300's to
the Lairds of Merchiston (Edinburgh) with sources. .

You will also see the name "Tregonwell" which is a line the Napiers
married into - I've been promised this tree as well. Norman has said that
this line is fascinating with Sir John Tregonwell (~1498-1565) (apparently
my 12 x GGF - and hence your 13 x GGF) being a lawyer in the Court of Henry
VIII - representing Henry when he got rid of Katherine of Aragon - he was
also the first owner of Milton Abbey after the dissolution of the
monastries. His portait is attached. Another Tregonwell was the founder of
      Bournemouth.

I think thats enough for one sitting - I hope it's not too confusing - if you are interested I do have quite a bit of information that I'm trying to collate that I can also send. If you look on the internet there is copious amounts of information on the Napiers.
