It is interesting that Mary Ann Tyas was born in Conisborough. Do you know
when she died? My mother was born in Conisborough in 1920 - I am wondering if that was because her grandmother was still alive and living there. I have been corresponding with Pat Stocks who has sent me pages from the
Hudson family bible as well as some copies of certificates. Also a picture
of Herbert Thompsom, Ada's son and he looks so like my grandfather Hubert,
who would have ben his uncle. I have only one picture of my grandfather but
if you do family pictures i can e-mail it to you. It was taken when he was
about 30 I think. I am still trying to find out when he died but so far have
only very vague answers - I just know it was later than 1965.
      Thanks for information

      Hi Jacky
Thanks for giving me access to your tree. I will update my database with
some of the details to fill in the descendent line for Hubert if you are
ok with that. These individuals will appear on my website and also in my
rootsweb database - though all reference to "Living" persons is marked
private and is not accessible to "joe public" users.
Sorry to hear you had some trouble getting onto my website. Can you let me
      know how far you got?
www.stantonetal.com/genealogy should take you to my site which gives you
an option to search on surnames. If you search on HUDSON you will get a
list of all the HUDSON's. Then by clicking on the name you want to see
detail of you should be taken to a page for that individual. There are a
number of tabs in the middle of the screen called things like Descendents/
Ancestors etc. which will produce the data in a tree format. Or you can
click on the Mother's or Father's names or the "Group Sheet" to see where
the individual lies in relation to the family group.
Hope that helps - let me know if you are still having problems.
      All the best
      Mark

      Hi Mark (again)
I have opened my tree on GR for you to see. let me know if you have a
      problem
I looked at the Stanton site this afternoon - I couldn't seem to get into
it all - do I have to log on? - I didn't try very hard!
I'll also make sure that I have included what I know about Hubert. He and
my grandmother separated in 1930 (finally divorced 1944) so I only saw him
at irregular intervals. My mum is his daughter, Florence Elizabeth
(Betty), both her siblings Arthur and Lily are dead. Having said that I
do remember him well and the date given for his death on the Hudson family
tree is definitely wrong, he lived well into his 80's - I saw my dad today
and intended to ask him if he remembered when grandad Hudson died but I
forgot. Unfortunately my mother has Altziemers and so can't tell me.
keep in touch, let me know if you get access to my tree on genes reunited

I have now made contact with Jenny Ellis
yes, she is from our branch - we share Wardrobe as a great grandfather
I have more or less finished writing up what I know of my mother's tree which I will put on the web for you to access and up date your Stantonetal
My mother died last July so her details can now be put on the web. her sister was not Lillian but Lily Mawbey Hudson - she was very particular about the Lily not Lillian!!!!!!
Hubert died in December 1884. Like your correspondent I can find no records of Wardrobe's death - but I never heard any scandal attached to his death!!!! His wife Mary Ann died sometime in 1923. Anyway I will let you know when I have up loaded it to the web! Richard Hudson's father seems to have been Mark and I have included this info in my tree.
