      Hi Mark,

Great to hear from you! I have already seen your site and have checked it out and downloaded the photos of the wedding, and Daisy's brother Frank and his wife Florence. I am asuming that the bride and groom are Daisy and Bill Allcock. Bill the groom, looks familiar comparing him with the photo of him and Daisy riding on the horse and buggy.

The couple standing beside the bride looks like Frank Ayliffe Senior. His son Frank look like him. The woman in the front of Frank Snr would be Annie Benham, Daisys' mother. I don't recognise any Benham Features. The earliest photo of a Benham is my grandfather Charles Sydney Benham and he and my mother look very much like his mother who is a Skidmore.

Frank Ayliffe married Annie Benham The marriage was registered in Dec 1894 Birmingham Vol 6d Page 182. I do not have the marriage certificate.

I have census records below of John Benham and his wife Ellen Jane Jones and family parents of Annie Benham. I was amazed that their address in 1891 was 461 Moseley Road, Balsall Heath. When I was about 4 years old I lived with my family at 471 Moseley Road just 10 doors away. It made me feel really close to them. I also noted that Annie's ocupation was Brush Maker when she was seventeen years old. Frank also was recorded as Brush Maker in the census below.

I am interested in any inforamtion you have on Frank and Annie's family. Look forward to hearing from you again.

      Best Wishes

      Mary.

      Hi Mary

Thanks for your note it's great to hear from you. This is my wife's family (maternal side). Daisy was her grandmother, her mother Susan is Daisy's youngest daughter.

I'll be in touch again shortly, but in the meantime you may want to check out my website www.stantonetal.com/genealogy for more info. My Ayliffe/ Allcock side isn't all qualified so take the details with a pinch of salt for now - there are some photos on there though including an Ayliffe wedding which may be of interest. Let me know if you can identify anyone!

We live in UK by the way - Worcester... though most of my wife's family are still in or around Birmingham area.

      All the best for now.

      Mark

Hi Mark, I'm hoping this message reaches you ok. I have seen your information on rootsweb relating to the ayliffe and Allcock families. I am related to Annie Benham who was married to Frank Ayliffe. Their daughter was Daisy Ayliffe and granddaughter Margaret Rose Allcock. Annie Benham's father John Benham was the brother of my Great Grandfather Thomas Benham.

      Look forward to hearing from.
