Hi Mark I have been looking at your website and I am telling you what I know. You have Edward Allen 1868 married to Carrie with 8 children son of Aaron & Elizabeth Peters. His parents were Aaron & Elizabeth and he was married to Caroline Allen (yes her maiden name was Allen) and they had 12 children- one of which was my Grandmother Caroline Elizabeth. They married 1st Feb 1886 in Bristol. One of their sons Ernest was killed aged 20 in 1917 whilst fighting in Belgian Flanders in WW1. Caroline died on 14th November 1926 aged 60 . Edward died on 8th June 1943 aged 75 . Carrie could be short for Caroline. Aaron was born 1848. Elizabeth was born 26th April 1848 in Stonehouse, Devon. They married in 1867. Aaron died on 2nd May 1915 aged 67. In your notes on Elisa Webb you say that Aaron was probably her father even though his surname was dittoed with the Allens. He was in fact father of Mark and in 1871 he was still living with them. He was christened in Laycock 29th March 1801 - parents John & Hesther. He married Hannah and he died in 1872.
